Hello!
My name is Anthony Marinaro and I'm a lighting designer originally from Hopatcong, New Jersey. I have my bfa in theatre design and technology with a concentration in lighting design from suny purchase college.
I specialize in design for dance and theater because I have a passion for the ability to paint the stage and assist in the story telling of live art forms. From early on I was involved in music which opened the doors to the world of art. From there I began lighting design in high school where I found my love for being able to create an image on stage. Lighting design to me is a paint brush that guides us as artists in our storytelling process. using light as a medium we are able to convey convey endless emotions and settings that transport the audience to another world. For those couple of hours the viewer gets to let go and experience somebody else’s story.
